IMG_3182Diane Bell, Research Librarian, City University London

Background:
I am a Chartered Librarian and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I have a degree in Modern Languages (French, Spanish and Italian subsidiary) and an MA in Library and Information Studies from UCL. I have worked at SOAS, the Institute of Education, HM Treasury and as an Academic Liaison Librarian for Modern & Applied Languages and English, Linguistics and Cultural Studies at University of Westminster.

Current role:  I am interested in working with, designing and delivering training and developing collections for researchers and exploring the use of social media tools.

See our comprehensive researcher guide.

We also have a library training workshops booking site.

I have recently developed an online  practical case study resource looking at how research students and academics at City use Library resources for literature searching, research and managing information.

I am currently researching the digital literacy of research students as part of an MA in Academic Practice course.
